The company confirmed that it had been selected Andrea Jackson as the new Vice President for Environment, Society and Governance (ESG). In his new role with SG, he will oversee the development of strategic ESG initiatives for business around the world.
As Vice President ESG, Jackson will help strengthen various ESG projects and closely monitor those initiatives. Moreover, he will help streamline such projects with SG’s global pillars that focus on minimizing environmental impact, empowering employees and partners, expanding healthy gaming and lottery literacy, among others.
Back inside 2022, SG has become an independent company that focuses heavily on the lottery industry. This has allowed it to significantly increase its ESG efforts and implement vital changes in its operations.
Currently, SG is renowned as the largest developer and operator of instant lottery games. The company is recognized for its leadership not only in the lottery industry but also in the sports betting vertical, offering technology, loyalty programs and solutions. Each year, SG partners generate billions of dollars through various charitable programs, while supporting responsible gambling.
The new ESG Vice President has extensive experience and a wide range of skills
Jackson did it extensive experience in the ESG field. Over the course of his professional career he has accumulated knowledge and skills in various sectors, including engineering. First he went back to SG 1999. Prior to being named vice president of ESG, he most recently served as director of quality, compliance and research and development. At the time, Jackson was based in the company’s instant game manufacturing and technology facility in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, Rosenzweig predicted that the new ESG vice president will help SG reach a new level of responsible growth. Ultimately, he said that under his close guidance, the company’s ESG programs will improve have a positive impact on communities and industries around the world.
Back in November, SG announced its support for the National Council on Problem Gambling’s annual Gift Responsibly campaign. This marked the sixth time in a row the company promised support for the initiative.
